Unfortunately I did not end up going to the theme park. I planned to record a few clips at a theme park, but those plans changed. I was really looking forward to recording all the roller coasters and fun scenery for my music video so it is very sad that I was not able to. Though I know I did get great shots and will create the best work I can. The tickets were just a little too expensive because there were many of us going together therefore the money added up. I did not have enough time as well because I was only on vacation for a short amount of time. I thought I would have enough time to make it to one of the theme parks but my schedule was very packed. I feel it would have enhanced my music video tremendously but I know I can make it just as good without those clips. It was not a major part of my music video that I needed for sure because I had many other things to film. Therefore I know it did not effect my work ethic.  Storyboard My music video will be based off a vacation therefore there will be many different exciting locations and settings in it. I will be making my music video to the song "The Night Is Still Young" by Nicki Manaj. Unfortunately our plans to go to a theme park, which I talked about in my intro and planning blog were canceled. I will have to make up by adding more small events to record during my vacation to make up this lost time.  First Scene:  During this scene I will filming out of the front window of the car I will be in. It will be night because my song has more of a night feel to it. It is likely to be filmed with a pan movement to enhance the entire view.  Second Scene:  The next scene will be a view from one of the side windows of the car, to shows another view of where I am. Planning Blog Props:   I will use props like duffle bags and different types of bags used when you travel because I will be arriving at a hotel. It will be a vacation setting so towels may also be used as props because I will go to the pool at my resort. Room keys will also be used as a prop when entering the hotel room for the first time. Different types of cool food and drinks we end up buying may also be used as props in my music video.  Costumes:   Costumes will likely ordinary, possibly a little colorful whatever fits the mood of the setting. Other than that bathing suits may be costumes considering I will likely film at the pool. I will be working alone. When I work alone, I am less distracted and am able to complete my tasks more quickly. I also don't have any nearby friends with whom I can schedule recording sessions. I will be responsible for all aspects of my music video's editing, recording, planning, and production. Working alone fits my schedule better because I don't have to worry about meeting up with anyone. Also, if someone has difficulty meeting together, it will not be an issue for me because I will not be relying on my group. I dislike hearing other people's perspectives in group activities. I also work better on my own because I prefer to do my work in a consistent manner without interference from others. I also get stressed when work is divided and someone does not complete their portion.  Hi, my name is Jasmine Mendez and I am back again for my music video project! I am super excited to get started with this project because I loved the last project. I also love music so being able to incorporate it into my project now is going to be very fun. I am planning to do an upbeat song so my music video will be fun and exciting. It is actually very funny that I have to make a music video for my next project and also it being for school. Considering I used to make music videos all the time when I was younger.
