Storyboard: Sketching my music video!

My music video will be based off a vacation therefore there will be many different exciting locations and settings in it. I will be making my music video to the song "The Night Is Still Young" by Nicki Manaj. Unfortunately our plans to go to a theme park, which I talked about in my intro and planning blog were canceled. I will have to make up by adding more small events to record during my vacation to make up this lost time. 

First Scene: During this scene I will filming out of the front window of the car I will be in. It will be night because my song has more of a night feel to it. It is likely to be filmed with a pan movement to enhance the entire view. 

Second Scene: The next scene will be a view from one of the side windows of the car, to shows another view of where I am. Also will be filmed as a medium shot with a person sitting in front of the window, which is not drawn in the storyboard. This will likely be filmed with a tilt movement to enhance the entire view. 

Third Scene: On my storyboard this scene is actually going to be the very last one because I unfortunately forgot to add it when originally drawing my storyboard. Therefore all scenes will be pushed back one. from the storyboard. So in this scene I will be filming at a rest stop on the drive to my vacation. 

Fourth Scene: An establishing shot of the hotel will be shot in this scene. Only the first main building will be shown because the resort is much too large to all be filmed. 

Fifth Scene: Someone walking into the main building doors to receive the room keys will be shot in this scene. A long shot of the person to be exact. 

Sixth Scene: This will be a slight overview of the entire hotel room, I believe it will be multiple rooms. Therefore I will walk through the entirety of each room to show all of it. 

Seventh Scene: I will be going to a marching band performance that my sister will be in and will record there for this scene. This will be a wide shot of all of the band members on the field. 

Eighth Scene: This will also be a wide shot of the pool itself. There is a waterfall in the resorts pool that I am going to so I will have my cousin stand under it while i stand on the opposite side to film. 

Ninth Scene: This will be shot from a low angle of my cousin under the waterfall but I am also under the waterfall recording rather than far away. I will then have her jump into the pool remaining at a low angle to make it appear as if she is flying over the camera. 

Tenth Scene: A high angle of her in the pool after jumping in will then be shot to show she is now lower and in the pool.

Eleventh Scene: This will be a trip to McDonalds, likely through the drive through so it will be of the ordering screen driving through. 

Twelfth Scene: Lastly, a ending of the night sky to show how beautiful it can be and all the fun things you can still do even if it is night. This will tie together the theme of my song since it is "The Night Is Still Young".
