Production Blog: Unfortunate Events
Unfortunately I did not end up going to the theme park. I planned to record a few clips at a theme park, but those plans changed. I was really looking forward to recording all the roller coasters and fun scenery for my music video so it is very sad that I was not able to. Though I know I did get great shots and will create the best work I can. The tickets were just a little too expensive because there were many of us going together therefore the money added up. I did not have enough time as well because I was only on vacation for a short amount of time. I thought I would have enough time to make it to one of the theme parks but my schedule was very packed. I feel it would have enhanced my music video tremendously but I know I can make it just as good without those clips. It was not a major part of my music video that I needed for sure because I had many other things to film. Therefore I know it did not effect my work ethic. I knew it was important for me to not be too worried or rattled by this in order to produce the best work I can. I needed to just film the shots that were possible and accessible to me. Just because one of my plans were unfortunately disturbed does not mean it would ruin the entirety of my plans. Perseverance is a very important trait when doing any work because there will be downs but you have to power through in order to accomplish the most you can. Yes these were unfortunate events but I will not let it effect me through the long run. I will use what I have to make the best music video I can. Creating in this class has really opened a new window for me I find all of this so exciting. When I picked my song I could not wait to record because I know it is going to look amazing when put together. Working to reach the best outcome in this class can be very refreshing because I want to create the best I can. I cannot wait to put all of my work together and create an amazing music video.
