First day of editing!

I am incredibly eager to begin editing. The first day of editing began today, which was very exciting for me because it means I can now finally see how my final project will look. I'm using iMovie once more, just like I did with my previous AS level projects. It was my first time using it, so I was able to use it much more easily than for my music video, but now that I've used it, I have experience. One of the reasons this editing process has been easier than my previous iMovie experiences is that I had better knowledge of the program from my previous work. I was able to start working right away as a result of not having to spend a lot of time learning how to use the various tools. I already had all of my shots added to iMovie's "My Movie" section. In order to avoid having trouble finding them when I started the actual editing, I inserted them as soon as I finished filming. Today, I rearranged them according to their proper order and removed any extraneous clips. Some of the photos had a little off color, so I also adjusted them. I edited a few clips to get rid of some imperfections that were caught during some of the filming. Although I didn't realize there would be so many, it took a long time to go through every clip I had. It took a lot of time to watch each one and make sure I fixed any color issues and eliminated any flaws. Minor issues or flaws may be easy to overlook while filming, but they may become very noticeable when you watch the footage again. Taking the time to review and address these issues during the editing process can greatly enhance the final product. I'm enjoying editing a lot overall, and I can't wait to see the final result. Even though it can occasionally be challenging and time-consuming, watching it all come together into a finished product is immensely satisfying. I'm excited to develop my filmmaking skills and broaden my creative horizons in the future.
