Production Blog: Planned filming days changed
On the day I had planned to film it began to rain therefore those plans changed. Instead of filming on the 19th I filmed on the 20th as well as the 21st because I also needed more than one day of filming. I did not realize that I would need two days but I did because I wanted to mainly record at night because it fit the theme of my song. This pushed back all my planned days for editing and rest of the process by two days. The rain was unfortunate but I did not let this hurt my filming time. I still filmed all that I needed and did not have the stormy weather. Just because of altered time because of the weather I did not allow this to effect me in the long run. I just easily changed my filming days to a day later than first proposed. Not all of my shots were outside but most of them were therefore the rain really did not do good. The rain was unexpected I figured it would not rain because it was very cold. Though I did not check the weather which I should have. Next time I will make sure to check the weather so I do not have this problem again. Though the weather can change from the time I check it therefore there is no guarantee of avoiding this problem every time. I do not think I lost anytime by this setback it did not effect me very severely. If I really wanted to I could have recorded in the rain for effects. This was not what I was personally looking for in my music video. Me and my family planned to do something outside of the hotel for this night but that changed. This is what specifically caused me to not film because I wanted to record outside of the hotel that day. Not being able to film was not something I anticipated but it did not matter overall. I am very excited to produce my best work in the next few following blogs.
