Filming Blog: Final Filming Day!

This was my second and final day of filming. This day was a lot funner to film because I filmed at the pool and it looked very pretty. The pool shot I got was so beautiful. It was very cold outside therefore no one was really at the pool because it was too cold to go in. It was the perfect time for me to film because normally the pool is completely packed and I did not want to feature other people in my video. I was very happy when I saw this for this exact reason. My cousin was scared to jump in because it was so cold but I made her jump in so I could film it. It was very funny, me and her could not stop laughing. The pool at the resort we stayed at was amazing, the waterfall just made it look beautiful. It was dark out but in my opinion made my shot even more majestic. The lights coming from the pool and small lights in between the rocks holding up the waterfall made pretty gleams that made everything look very magical. This clip of the pool and waterfall will definitely be the best one in my entire music video because it came out so perfect. It came out exactly how I wanted to and I love when things go to plan, they relieve me of stress. I made my cousin walk along under the waterfall while I stood on the opposite end to record a pan shot of the area. Then it was time for her to jump in. I walked around the pool so I was standing behind her underneath the waterfall. We first planned exactly how I would rotate the camera while she was jumping in, I ran behind her with an over the shoulder angle. Then angled it up as she jumped in. Once she eventually did jump in she said it was not as cold as she thought it would be. Her whole body was submerged so it did not feel too cold. On the way back to our room told a different story. The wind made her freeze because she was wet. It was so funny and we were laughing so hard, we always have so much fun together.
