Schedule Change

Unfortunately, I was unable to film on the days I had scheduled. This was due to a number of factors, including the illness of my cousin, who was meant to be one of the sisters in my movie. As such, on the days I had planned to film with her, we were unable to. I refuse to allow this regrettable incident to continue to affect me. I just rescheduled my filming days to a few days later than I had originally intended. I know I will still have enough time to film all the shots I need, so this isn't really a setback. I have plenty of time, so even though I've missed a few days, I still have a good chance of finishing this project. I will continue to do my absolute best work. In addition, I've had a ton of homework from my other classes. I've been so busy with school that I haven't had time to film. It was imperative that I completed the remaining tasks. That being said, it does not lessen my value in this project. I intend to complete this assignment with the same fervor as any other that I receive. However, I respect deadlines, and I am confident that I will have enough time to finish this project. It didn't really matter in the end, even though I hadn't anticipated not being able to film. I cannot wait to continue working on my project very soon. I will see you all very soon with another update!

Research Blog: Commercial Conventions

Commercial Conventions I will be doing a shoe commercial for product Crocs. In these commercials, it is typical for the audience to see people running or just different angles of the shoe.  The shoes are the main subject in the commercial. They do things that revolve around the shoe, that add to it, like playing soccer with your feet.  The setting of these commercials, crocs specifically are usually very colorful and vibrant. This is to match the many different colors that crocs can come in. By using these colors they try to draw in the viewers because there are many vibrant colors.  In these commercials the actor is put into scenes such as dancing with their families or running with their friends, the shoes are specifically shown because they are having fun in them. Props could include the shoes themself along with the the setting followed.
