Gore and violent scenes are frequently used in horror movies as shock and disgust tactics.
My Decision:
After researching the three different genres of thriller, drama, and horror I have decided to choose Drama. The sisters exploration of intricate connections and personal vulnerabilities, along with their navigation of unexpected shadows and creepy messages, give the storyline emotional depth, which is enhanced by the genre choice of drama in this pitch. Intense character development is made possible by the dramatic element, which also makes the sisters' unspoken disagreements and hidden conflicts clear. It builds a suspenseful atmosphere that keeps viewers on the edge of their seats and engrossed in the characters' emotional journey. Suspense and tension are increased by exploring the psychological effects of the enigmatic events through drama. Drama ultimately improves the story as a whole, turning an apparently routine night into an engaging and intense journey for the characters and the viewer.
