I'm back!

 Hello, I'm Jasmine Mendez. I go to Fort Lauderdale High School and am eager to begin my A level studies in media studies. I am back and ready to create the best work that I can. I took AS Level Media Studies last year as a sophomore and am now a junior. I'm happy to be continuing a class that studies movies because I love movies so much. I worked on a few projects last year. I'll only be doing one this year. I'll make the entire short film myself. In order to make my film, I'll apply the knowledge and abilities I gained from last year's research. I'll provide updates on my travels on multiple blogs. The process will be similar to last year's, involving research and storyboard updates, but the blogs will be slightly different because there's more work to be done in a five-minute film than there was in the one I created last year, which was just an introduction. 

I'm not sure yet how my final exam will be structured. As there is only one project to complete, I am aware that my grade will vary depending on how it turns out. I recently reviewed my media studies terms, whether or not I'm writing an essay for my A level. I would like to have access to information for my blogs so that I can provide a more detailed description of my film or the ideas I have for it. I've already begun to watch some short films. I've made notes about recurring themes and interesting angles that I observed. When I do more in-depth research later on, I may move some of these notes to some of my other blogs. I will create my group and pitch blogs first, though. I'm eager to get started on this project and can only hope that it will be the best of all of my projects.
