Final Day of Filming!
Today was the final day of filming! This was so exciting because I now can start editing. Todays filming was slightly longer than the other days of filming. This was because I filmed two storyboards rather than one like I did for the past three filming days. I did this because one of the storyboards did not use my baby niece so she didn’t have to be pushed to do too much work. I feel that she can get frustrated after a while if we are making her do something. So I filmed the ending of my opening sequence. This consisted of the man throwing the daughter into the car and then driving away. During this scene my baby niece began to cry. I felt so bad for her because she did not know what was going on. Of course after this we comforted her and made sure she was okay and stopped filming. I also filmed the shots of the mother calling 911. Then for the 911 operator I used my other cousin, this was a very funny experience. We could not stop laughing during this scene because he had to act like a 911 operator. We had to film this scene multiple times in order to get a good shot. This being the final day was very exciting for me but it was also sad because I know this is my last project. I feel this class has definitely made me want to do things like this in my free time. This was such a fun experience and I would love to do something like this even if it’s not for a class. Anyways! I am super excited to start editing my opening sequence. I have been putting my shots that I have already filmed together but have not done any serious editing. Just gathering all my pieces together and making sure I had enough. I cannot wait to start doing the real editing for my piece.
