Planning Blog Props: The product that my commercial will be on is Crocs therefore the Crocs will be the main prop that I use in this commercial. There will likely be no other props used. Costumes: In my commercial there will be multiple people likely wearing colorful clothes to match the color of their vibrantly colored shoes. Though the costumes do not have much correlation with the shoes themselves. Any clothes that want to be worn can be worn. Dark general clothes can also be worn to allow the shoes to pop.  Schedule: On 9/26/22, I researched conventions relating to shoe commercials.  On 9/27/22, I established the location, props, costumes, schedule, and backup plan for the commercial.  On 9/30/22, I will create the storyboard for my 30 second commercial. On 10/3/11, I will begin filming for my commercial. Commercial Conventions I will be doing a shoe commercial for product Crocs. In these commercials, it is typical for the audience to see people running or just different angles of the shoe.  The shoes are the main subject in the commercial. They do things that revolve around the shoe, that add to it, like playing soccer with your feet.  The setting of these commercials, crocs specifically are usually very colorful and vibrant. This is to match the many different colors that crocs can come in. By using these colors they try to draw in the viewers because there are many vibrant colors.  In these commercials the actor is put into scenes such as dancing with their families or running with their friends, the shoes are specifically shown because they are having fun in them. Props could include the shoes themself along with the the setting followed. The costumes they were include also colorful clothing to match the vibrantly colored shoes or calm colors to allow the shoes to pop....

I will be working by myself. I work more efficiently when I work alone, I have no distractions and am able to get my work done faster. I also do not have any friends that live close to me that I will be able to find time to record with. I will be doing all of the editing, recording, planning, and all parts of my commercial.  Working alone works better with my schedule, because I do not have to worry about meeting up with anyone. Also, if someone has issues with meeting together that will not be an issue for me because I do not need to rely on my group. I dislike having other people's opinions during group activities. I also work better on my own because I like to do my work a certain way and not have other people changing that. I also tend to stress once work is divided, and someone does not finish their part. Having to rely on someone for my own grade also puts pressure on me because they may not have the same mind set as me and will not do their work as efficiently as I do. I lik...

Hi, my name is Jasmine Mendez I am in AICE Media Studies AS Level, and I am really excited to learn more in this class. I am a sophomore at Fort Lauderdale High School. I have heard very good things about this class and was very excited when I joined, I love photography so I think this class will be a good way for me to learn more about it. I have interest in this class because understanding how movies and shows are filmed and edited is very interesting to me. I am very family oriented we are always together; my mom is Indian, and my dad is Mexican. I've been to Mexico many times, and I've been to Indian once. My cousin and I are very close we do everything together, going to the beach is something me and her enjoy tremendously.
